Afcan Mining (AFK-T) continues to expand the resource at its Jinlonggou gold deposit in the west-central Chinese province of Qinghai.

Results from 15 holes were recently released, and among the highlights are:

2.1 metres grading 60.96 grams gold per tonne; 11.5 metres grading 7.31 grams gold, including a 2-metre intercept grading 25.04 grams gold; 5.5 metres of 9.4 grams gold; 11.5 metres of 2.97 grams gold; and 2.6 metres of 10.36 grams gold.

Five other holes intersected greater than 5.5 metres (and up to 9.9 metres) grading between 2.2 and 6.15 grams gold per tonne. Another five holes intersected 1.65-4.9 metres of 1.86-7.24 grams gold. Several holes contained multiple intercepts.

Four drill rigs continue to test the area. Sixteen holes are being drilled at the Qinlongtan deposit, northwest of Jinlonggou.

Samples are prepared on-site and sent to Genalysis Laboratories in Perth, Australia.

Afcan owns 85% of the Tanjianshan property through its subsidiary TJS. The remaining percentage is owned equally by Dachaidan Gold Mine and The First Brigade for Geology and Mineral Exploration of Qinghai Province.
