A new gold zone has been uncovered by Ego Resources of Toronto on its Goudreau gold property near Wawa, Ont., the company reports.
To date, 26 holes have intersected a gold-bearing shear zone which has been traced for 600 ft along strike in an east-west direction and down-dip for about 500 ft, Ego says. The zone is open to depth and at both ends.
Among the better intersections were 5 ft of 0.27 oz gold per ton, 5.3 ft of 0.65 oz and 6 ft of 0.19 oz.
The company reports it has two drill rigs on the property.
