New consulting firm

Several professional mining engineers and geologists, formerly employees of Robertson & Associates, have established a consulting firm under the name Micon International Limited. The group, in recent years, has been part of Coopers & Lybrand, and agreement has been reached whereby Micon International will maintain an ongoing relationship with Coopers & Lybrand.

The founding members of the firm are Harry Burgess, Kenneth Grace, Leonard Kilpatrick, Christopher Lattanzi, Jane Spooner and Mani Verma, whose experience in the mineral industry averages in excess of 20 years, including 10 years as consultants.

Micon International will provide its services to the mineral industry from a head office in Toronto, with representatives in Vancouver in Canada, Denver in the United States, and Perth in Western Australia.
