NEVADA SPECIAL — Quebec juniors look to Nevada opportunities

Val d’Or-based junior Brex Exploration (BX.A-M) has started drilling its Carlin trend property in northern Nevada.

Geophysical surveys reveal significant anomalies on northeast- and northwest-trending structures. Drilling will concentrate on the mineral potential of these high-angle structures.

Meanwhile, Brex’s sister company, Mimiska Mining (MMS-M) will acquire a half interest in the Buffalo Valley gold property in central Nevada.

The 44 claims cover 900 acres and contain a near-surface resource of 96,000 oz. gold. To date, only limited drilling has been carried out, with the best hole grading 0.303 oz. gold per ton over 40 ft.

Mimiska will acquire the property by issuing an initial 100,000 shares and $50,000, plus 150,000 shares after six months and 250,000 shares after 12 months.
