Nebex Resources (NBX-T) has drilled more long copper-gold intersections at its Munelle polymetallic property in north-central Albania.
Highlights from the three latest holes include:
* 8 metres (from 298 metres) grading 1.29 grams gold and 1.79 grams silver per tonne plus 1.21% copper, and 7 metres (from 586 metres) of 1.17 grams gold, 0.2 gram silver and 0.64% copper in hole 6;
* 79 metres (from 449 metres) grading 1.11 grams gold, 3.42 grams silver and 1.25% copper, including 50 metres of 1.22 grams gold and 1.63% copper, in hole 7; and
* 9 metres (from 294 metres) of 1.28 grams gold, 1.96 grams silver and 1.25% copper in hole 8.
As well, the company says holes 10 and 11 show that the massive-sulphide mineralization extends to the east farther than was delineated by previous drilling by a state agency. Twenty holes will be drilled in the current program, and results for holes 9, 10 and 11 are pending.
Nebex also completed a $653,000 private placement of 1.26 million units at 52 cents each, with one unit consisting of one share plus one share purchase warrant entitling the holder to buy another share at 65 cents for two years.
The proceeds are earmarked for definition drilling at Munelle.
