Navigator Exploration tests targets

Having recently completed ground geophysics on 33 targets in the Northwest Territories, Navigator Exploration (NVR-A) is set to drill-test up to six of these. They are situated at the southern end of Contwoyto Lake.

The targets are in the vicinity of several known kimberlites, including those known as T-31 and Dia.

T-31 is one of four kimberlites discovered on the ICE claims, which are held jointly by Tahera (TAH-T) and Kennecott Canada Exploration, a division of London-based Rio Tinto (RTP-N). Kennecott recently announced the discovery of a fifth body, dubbed Vega, on these claims. Microdiamond results from the new discovery are pending.

The DIA claims, held 50-50 by Tahera and Pyroil Resources (PYR-A), are under option to Kennecott. Several kimberlite pipes have been discovered on these claims, but, like the four pipes previously discovered on the ICE property, the pipes have neither the size nor the diamond content to warrant additional evaluation.
