Navigator Exploration (NVR-V) is disappointed by results from a short drilling program designed to test five high-priority geophysical pipe-like targets on the Crystal property in the Northwest Territories.
The junior failed to intersect kimberlite in four of the targets; the fifth was not tested, owing to a lack of water. Navigator has an option to earn an initial half-interest in the property, which lies 60 km south of Lac de Gras, from Tyler Resources (TYS-V) by spending $1.7 million before the end of 2002.
In related news, Navigator and Canabrava Diamond (CNB-V) have sunk a single hole, without success, at a lone target on their jointly held Kat project in the Attawapiskat area of northern Ontario. Drilled to a depth of 116 metres, the hole encountered broken limestone with numerous clay seams.
