Moss to drill Quebec prospect

Drilling by Moss Resources (MRS-T) will test a newly outlined polymetallic showing at the Duval-Boudreault property near Val d’Or, Que. The program, scheduled to begin in late March, will also test newly detected

geophysical targets on the property.

The Toronto-based junior has completed magnetic and electromagnetic (EM) surveys over the showing, which picked up a 500-metre-plus-long conductor coincident with sulphide mineralization in the discovery trench. Initial sampling of this target last fall returned values of 1.5% copper, as well as 0.42 gram gold and 13.7 grams silver per tonne, over a width of 5.3 metres.

Nine EM conductors were picked up from surveys carried out over the 30-claim property, and an induced-polarization survey is being conducted over the discovery area to detect any massive sulphide mineralization. Results are expected shortly.

Moss views the property as prospective for volcanogenic massive sulphide deposits.
