Operated by Tyler Resources (TSE), the drill program recently intersected 19.7 ft grading 1.27 oz gold per ton and 9.8 ft grading 0.46 oz. Other intersections include 31.2 ft grading 0.24 oz and 4.9 ft grading 0.24 oz.
The results were obtained from three holes drilled on centres about 80 ft apart testing the Golden Heart deposit, which was discovered last year. All three holes were drilled to depths of more than 1,000 ft.
A total of 10 holes have been completed to date in this winter’s drilling program. Although assays are still awaited for seven of the recent holes, the company says visible gold has been logged in five of them.
Tyler Resources is increasing its interest in the Weedy Lake project to 50.1% from 25% by funding $1 million in exploration. Golden Rule has a 29.9% carried interest and Cameco has a 20% working interest in the Weedy Lake project.
