Vancouver – The latest round of drill results from Southwestern Resources‘ (SWG-T) Boka gold project continue to show strong gold associated with quartz-carbonate stockworks and higher grades within massive sulphides.
The drilling shows continuity of the mineralization along strike and downdip at the Boka 1 North and Boka 1 South zones.
The latest five holes into Boka 1 North are highlighted by intercepts grading 9.6 grams gold per tonne over 28.55 metres in hole B04-76 starting from 177-metre depth and; 2.8 grams gold over 64 metres from 347.9-metre depth in hole-74.
The Vancouver-based junior has nine rigs turning at the Boka gold project in China’s Yunnan province, with the bulk of drilling aimed at testing the Boka 1 gold zone on a 100-metre by 50-metre grid.
Results are awaited for another 15 recently completed holes. The company expects quicker turn-around times for its drill assay results since switching to SGS’ preparation facility in Kunming and Tianjin assay facility near Beijing.
