Note: After 127 years, the Montreal Exchange stopped trading stocks on Sept. 28, 2001. All 107 Montreal listings moved on Oct. 1, 2001, to the Canadian Venture Exchange but are retaining their ticker symbols.
The Montreal Exchange has been renamed the Bourse de Montral and will only serve as a derivatives market.
Trading in Montreal-listed companies in our tables reflects activity only up to the close on Sept. 28. Next week’s tables will include trading in those companies on the CDNX.
