With both Royal Oak Mines (TSE) and Echo Bay Mines (TSE) bringing properties in the Night Hawk Lake area, east of Timmins, Ont., into production, junior explorer Moneta Porcupine Mines (TSE) has been augmenting its nearby land package.
The acquisition of two claim groups in Cody and Matheson twps. bring Moneta’s holding in the area to 15.4 sq. km. Induced-polarization and magnetic surveys have been done over some of the property, and Moneta plans to conduct drilling in the spring.
