MNDM opens Toronto centre

Ontario’s Ministry of Northern Development and Mines officially opened its new Mines and Minerals Information Centre in the Macdonald Block, 900 Bay St., Toronto, Oct. 5.

With the ministry relocated to Sudbury, the new centre will provide Toronto-based clients with computerized access to geological databases. It houses two provincial geologists, the Southern Ontario Mining Recorder’s Office and the ministry’s assessment files.
