A work program by Minnova (TSE) is slated to begin shortly on the Fireweed property near Smithers, B.C. The company has the right to earn a 70% interest in the polymetallic (gold-silver-lead-zinc-copper) project from owner Mansfield Minerals (VSE).
The terms of the option require Minnova to make staged property expenditures totalling $2 million and staged payments to Mansfield (formerly Canadian-United Minerals) totalling $150,000 before Sept. 1, 1995.
