Toronto-based Minnova (TSE) is moving two rigs on to the Golden Briar (Flag) property in Rouyn and Beauchastel twps., Que., to test for deep mineralized structures.
The scheduled program, which consists of a minimum of six deep holes, will total about 14,000 ft.
“It’s strictly a geological target,” says Gerald Riverin, manager of exploration for eastern Canada. “We’ve got a juicy environment, but these a pretty wildcat holes.”
Riverin says Minnova will be chasing favorable flow contacts below the 650-ft. depth tested by surface geophysics.
Golden Briar Mines has a 10% net profits royalty (NPI), which increases to 49% once designated costs are recovered, on any future production from the 9,500 claim package.
