Minnesota’s department of Natural Resources is in the final stages of assembling the list of lands and mineral rights that will be offered at the 1988 state metallic minerals lease sale. The date of the lease sale is tentatively set for Sept 29.
The current proposal is to open bids at the end of the first day of the Current Activities Forum at Ironworld in Chisholm, Minn. The exact time and date of the lease sale will be announced at least 30 days before the sale.
The Mining Unit Book, which lists the state-owned or administered lands offered for lease, will be available for purchase by the end of August.
