MINING MARKETS & INVESTMENT NEWS — Suspensions abound on TSE, VSE

The British Columbia Securities Commission has issued cease trade orders against four companies that failed to abide by the regulator’s stricter disclosure requirements.

Vetta Ventures, Rorex Exploration, Solaia Ventures and Bice Ventures have been suspended from trading on the Vancouver Stock Exchange over concerns that the companies failed to provide accurate and timely disclosure of material changes, and because of inadequate disclosure in quarterly reports.

* Over on the Toronto Stock Exchange, trading of United Reef and Teddy Bear Valley Mines was suspended for failure to meet continued listing requirements. United Reef, which was unable to provide evidence of an active exploration program, says it will seek a listing on the Canadian Dealing Network.
