MINING MARKETS & INVESTMENT NEWS — INSIDER TRADING — St. Jude insiders let options expire

According to Ontario Securities Commission reports, two directors and one officer of St. Jude Resources (SJD-V) bought shares and were granted options in that company in May and April.

Terrell Michael, director, disposed of 445,000 options with an exercise price of $2.50, was granted 734,000 options at 85 cents, and bought 42,500 Class A shares at 72 cents-85 cents to hold 1,012,260 Class A shares and 734,000 options; Chris Bennett, director, disposed of 41,500 options with an exercise price of $2.50, was granted 50,000 options at 85 cents, exercised 10,000 options at 85 cents and sold 10,000 Class A shares at $1.91 to hold 40,000 options and 46,617 Class A shares; and Mary-Jane Hamula, officer, disposed of 10,000 options with an exercise price of $4.25 and was granted 50,000 options at $1 to hold 50,000 options.

In other transactions reported in recent weeks:

* Metallica Resources (MR-T) — Bradley Blacketor, director, was granted 100,000 options at $2.55 to hold 350,000 options; Fred Lighter, officer, was granted 200,000 options at $2.55 to hold 350,000 options; Denis Marsh, director, exercised 20,000 options at 50 cents to hold 50,000 shares and 30,000 options; Craig Nelson, director, exercised 50,000 options at 50 cents and was granted 200,000 options at $2.55 to hold 200,000 options and 450,000 shares.

* Northern Abitibi Mining (NAI-A) — Jens Hansen, director, sold 40,000 shares at $1.25-1.70 to hold 522,191 shares directly and 30,468 shares through Geotest.

* Scorpion Minerals (SCP-T) — Stephen Bizzell, director, bought 242,250 shares indirectly at 42 cents-47 cents to hold 550,550 shares through Busquiz, 47,652 through Bayisle and 161,500 through Barracusa Capital; Fletcher Quinn, director, bought 242,250 shares at 42 cents-47 cents to hold 550,500 shares through Busquiz and 271,729 shares indirectly.

* KWG Resources (KWGR-C) — St. Genevieve Resources (SGVE-C) privately bought 333,334 shares at $3.75, 18,992,180 at 40 cents and

1 million at $5.25 to hold 25,531,118 shares in total.
