* Aur Resources (AUR-T) — Leo Thibodeau, director, sold 19,000 shares at $3.50-3.55 to hold 1,000 shares.
* Dia Met Minerals (DMM.A-T) — David Mackenzie, director, sold 3,000 shares at $24.50-24.55 to hold 696,440 shares directly and indirectly.
* Dundee Bancorp (DBC.A-T) — Paul Carroll, director, sold 3,500 shares at $26-26.05 to hold 45,007 shares directly and indirectly.
* Eldorado Gold (ELD-T) — Michael Beley, senior officer, indirectly sold 40,000 shares at $1.10-1.20 to hold 785,900 shares indirectly. (In December 1997, Beley was granted 142,857 options, to hold 647,857 options indirectly.) * Falconbridge (FL-T) — Noranda (NOR-T) acquired 1.4 million shares at $15.70-17.35 to hold 85.5 million shares.
* Queenstake Resources (QTR-T) — Robert Miller Jr., senior officer, acquired 50,000 shares at 45 cents to hold 926,238 shares.
In other recent transactions on North American exchanges:
* Nord Resources (NRD-N) — Jean Raymond Boulle, through Investments Sa Mil, bought 220,100 shares at US$1.94-$2 to hold 6.2 million shares.
* Stillwater Mining (SWC-X) — John Andrews, officer, exercised an option for 25,000 shares at US$5.87 per share. In addition, he sold 18,190 shares for US$27.01, while still holding 16,510 shares. John Eschenlohr, director, sold 2,000 shares at US$27.44 and no longer holds shares in the company.
* Getchell Gold (GGO-X) — Vice-President Richard Nanna exercised an option for 4,795 shares at US$8.50 each, to hold 30,841 shares.
* Arabian Shield Development (ARSD-Q) — John Crichton, director, exercised an option for 5,000 shares at US$1.38 each and sold them at US$2.50 per share. He no longer holds shares in the company.
* Hanover Gold (HVGO-O) — Bosworth Robinson, director, bought 2,500 shares at US$1.50-1.56 to hold, directly and indirectly, 355,600 shares.
