Recent insider trading transactions reported by the Ontario Securities Commission in its OSC Bulletin include the following:

  • AfriOre (AFO-V) — Thomas DiGiacomo, director, transferred 80,000 shares from a direct account into an indirect one to hold 2,800 shares directly and 80,000 shares indirectly, while Harvey White, executive of an affiliated company, acquired 61,000 shares at 16-17 cents to hold 430,763 shares.
  • Black Hawk Mining (BHK-T) — Gordon Bub, director, acquired 111,111 shares in a private placement at 18 cents to hold 1.46 million shares directly and 832,730 shares in two indirectly held accounts, whereas Leslie Gord, director, acquired 55,556 shares in a private placement at 18 cents to hold 207,556 shares.
  • Black Swan Gold Mines (BSW-T) — Edmond Lemieux, director, disposed of 190,000 options at an unspecified price to hold none.
  • Comaplex Minerals (CMF-T) — Garth Schultz, officer, sold 27,800 shares at $1.40-1.50 to hold none.
  • Dayton Mining (DAY-T) — Elliott Associates, holder of more than 10% of the company, indirectly sold 831,000 shares at US$1.02 and acquired 1.5 million convertible debentures at US$34.25 to hold 1.41 million shares and 2.75 million convertible debentures indirectly. Meanwhile, Westgate International, holder of more than 10%, indirectly acquired 831,000 shares at US$1.02 and 1.5 million convertibles at US$34.25 to hold 3.07 million shares and 2.75 million convertible debentures indirectly.
  • Kazakhstan Minerals (KMC.U-T) — Barry Rayment, director, allowed to expire 70,000 options priced at US$3 and disposed of another 40,000 options priced at US$2.75 to hold 90,000 options.
  • Lytton Minerals (LTL-T) — The Crabbe Huson Group, formerly owner of more than 10% of the company, indirectly disposed of 2.81 million shares at an unspecified price to hold none.
  • Inmet Mining (IMN-T) — Frank Balint, officer, disposed of 6,500 shares at $5.65 and acquired 10,443 shares at $3.49 plus 650 warrants at 20 cents to hold 13,943 shares and 650 warrants; Richard Ross, officer, disposed of 1,700 shares at $5.65 and acquired 2,730 shares at $3.49 plus 170 warrants at 20 cents to hold 3,530 shares and 170 warrants; Peter Rozee, officer, disposed of 3,300 shares at $5.65 and acquired 5,302 shares at $3.49 plus 330 warrants at 20 cents to hold 7,002 shares and 330 warrants; Paul Gagne, director, acquired 70 warrants at 20 cents to hold 70 warrants; Anthony Petrina, director, disposed of 16,200 shares at $5.85 and acquired 26,026 shares at $3.49 plus 1,620 warrants at 20 cents to hold 34,826 shares and 1,620 warrants; Alfred Powis, director, disposed of 1,300 shares at $5.65 and acquired 2,000 shares at $3.45 to hold 2,700 shares; and James Tory, director, disposed of 22,400 shares at $5.65, and acquired 26,025 shares at $3.49 plus 1,620 warrants at 20 cents to hold 38,125 shares and 1,620 warrants.
  • Queenstake Resources (QTR-T) — Robert Miller, director, sold 119,500 shares at US13-14 cents to hold 621,738 shares.
  • Sutton Resources (STT-T) — Anthonie Luteijn, director, acquired 3,600 shares at $5.35 to hold 10,000 shares, while John Kenyon, director, directly acquired 20,000 options at $10.10 and indirectly disposed of 25,000 additional votes to hold 300,000 options directly and 1.91 million additional votes indirectly.
