Mining Games set for Montreal

The fifth annual Canadian Mining Games are scheduled for March, 1995, in Montreal.

The events are designed to challenge the students’ knowledge of and skill in a wide range of mining aspects. Past events have included jackleg drilling, rock and mineral identification, mine surveying and mine drawings using AutoCad.

The Montreal Games are being organized by a committee composed of mining students from McGill University and Ecole Polytechnique. Mining students from engineering schools throughout Canada are invited to participate.
