A “mining day” in Lebel-sur-Quevillon, Que., is planned for April 26 as part of Quebec’s Mining Week activities.
The theme of the day will be “Lebel-sur-Quevillon, the new mining camp of Abitibi.” Morning trips will be made to the Freewest and Grevet projects, to be followed by an afternoon discussion session. A banquet in the evening will feature Cambior President Louis Gignac as speaker.
Mining Week is scheduled for April 24-29.
