Mineralization discovered at Hebron Lake

Field work on the Hebron Lake property, 200 km northwest of Voisey Bay, Labrador, has identified six mineralized areas for Consolidated Viscount Resources (VSE).

Grab sampling of weathered outcrops from within one of the areas, the Central zone, returned values up to 0.32% nickel and 0.96% copper. The zone is traceable over a strike length of 1,500 metres, with widths of up to 150 metres. Semi-massive sulphide mineralization is hosted in

quartz-feldspar-garnet-paragneiss.

The company plans to carry out extensive trenching and geological mapping.

Meanwhile, at the company’s Tasisuak Lake property (a joint-ventured project with Vancouver-listed Consolidated Magna Ventures), three holes from the first phase of drilling are completed. A minimum of 10 holes comprising at least 1,000 metres are planned.

Consolidated Magna recently acquired an option to earn a 33.3% interest in the Puttu (Krinor) property, 5 km north of the 1515M claim block held by Canadian States Gas. The deal follows a similar one agreed to by Castle Rock Exploration (VSE), in which it can earn a 33.3% interest in Puttu by paying $100,000 over three years, issuing 100,000 shares and spending $500,000 on exploration over four years. However, Magna does not start contributing its $500,000 in exploration expenditures until Castle Rock completes its earn-in.

The Puttu property is reported to contain two gossanous zones, one of which assayed up to 1.31% nickel, 0.52% copper and 0.18% cobalt, while the other assayed 0.57% nickel, 0.58% copper and 0.11% cobalt. Castle Rock is applying for a drill permit.
