Minefinders starts drilling program

An $800,000 exploration budget has been drawn up. Two private placements worth $400,000 each, one with CMP 1989 Resource Partnership and Co., Ltd. and the other with NIM Resource — 1989 and Co., Ltd. Partnership, are financing the work.

Work has started on the company’s Malartic Twp. property near the Camflo and Orion mines, and on the Lada property adjacent to the Joe Mann mine near Chibougamau. Minefinders is earning a 50% interest in Lada from Greenstone Resources.

About to undergo drilling are the wholly owned Dubuisson West property and the Cuvillier property in which Minefinders has an option to acquire a 100% interest.
