The BC Museum of Mining has been rebranded as the Britannia Mine Museum. The museum team is pictured above beside the new highway sign. The change comes ahead of a $14.7-million redevelopment project at the historic Britannia Beach mining site, south of Squamish on the Sea to Sky Highway. The museum celebrates the contribution of minerals to society, the mining history of Britannia Beach and promotes mining awareness.
