Junior Mindoro Resources (MIO-A) is carrying out grassroots exploration on its Concession 11 project in Myanmar.
The Calgary-based junior recently initiated a program of geochemical sampling and geological mapping to assess the Kyaukkyi and Thida prospects.
The former is an epithermal gold target hosted by mafic volcanics, whereas the latter is described as an intrusive-related system with potential for copper and gold mineralization.
Mindoro holds a 50% interest in the Concession 11 project, with the remainder held by the Myanmar government. Leeward Capital (LWC-A) has a 5% net profits interest, which Mindoro can buy back for US$303,914.
