Mimiska earns in

Mimiska Mining (ME) has earned a 50% interest in the Pyrite Falls project in Labrador. Noranda (TSE) holds the remaining 50%. Gold values have been encountered in wide-spaced drilling completed on a sulphide-bearing iron formation. The gold values are associated with a stringer sulphide zone, Mimiska says.

Some of the better results include 0.65 oz. gold per ton across 2.5 ft., and a 5-ft. section assaying 0.18 oz. A third drill hole intersected 9.9 ft. grading 0.16 oz.
