Millstream Mines (MLM-V) has reported further sulphide intersections from its Potter property near Matheson, Ont., including a new zone not previously intersected.
The most recent drill hole on Potter, S07-04, intersected two massive sulphide zones on horizons known to host mineralization, but also intersected a third zone at depth farther north than any mineralized zones drilled so far.
Another hole, S07-03, intersected a 6-metre zone of disseminated and stringer sulphides. Most of the new mineralization being intersected is to the north or south — stratigraphically above and below previously mined areas at Potter.
The most recent assay results came from hole S07-02, which cut three intervals of sulphide mineralization. The uppermost ran 2.08% copper, 2.54% zinc, 0.04% cobalt and 12.7 grams silver per tonne over 13.3 metres. The middle interval ran 3.34% copper, 2.34% zinc, 0.09% cobalt and 35 grams silver per tonne over 7.5 metres, and the lowermost cut a 2.3-metre intersection grading 1.18% copper, 0.91% zinc, 0.05% cobalt and 13 grams silver.
