An international conference on “Large meteorite impacts and planetary evolution” will be held on the Laurentian University campus Aug. 31-Sept. 2. It includes two Sudbury, Ont.-area field trips.
The conference will receive a $20,000 grant from Ontario’s Ministry of Northern Development and Mines, whose new Mines and Minerals Research Centre is housed at Laurentian University.
