Metall Mining (TSE) benefited from strong metal prices in the last quarter of 1987 to post net income of $17.3 million or 46 cents per share for the nine months ended Dec 31. That includes extraordinary gains of $5.9 million.
Net earnings for the latest quarter in that period were $8.6 million or 23 cents per share after extraordinary items.
