A second assay has confirmed earlier published results from the Launay-Privat gold property situated about 30 miles northeast of Rouyn-Noranda, Que., Messeguay Mines (ME) reports.
Hole ML-87-75 returned a mineralized zone grading 0.13 oz gold per ton over 64 ft; the second assay turned another 64-ft section also grading 0.13 oz.
Hole ML-87-89 cut an intersection grading 0.12 oz over 50 ft, including 0.2 oz over 23 ft and 0.11 oz over 8 ft; second assay cut a 50-ft section grading 0.12 oz, including 0.19 oz over 23 ft and 8 ft of 0.17 oz.
