Meridor explores Iskut property

First phase of a $500,000 exploration program was started recently by Meridor Resources (VSE) at the Iskut property in the Stewart gold camp in northern British Columbia.

The program consists of ground work and 5,000 ft of drilling. Meridor, a Hughes-Lang company, says that if results from the first phase are favorable, a 10,000-ft drilling program will follow. A soil sampling survey was undertaken on the property in 1987.

Meridor reports the area is swarming with exploration and development activity. Delaware’s Snip property claims are staked in a block around Meridor’s claims, the company says, and Skyline’s Reg property is located about four km to the south.
