Communication among industry, researchers and government worldwide will be the focus of the fifth annual meeting of the Mineral Economics and Management Society (MEMS), to be held at the Delta Hotel in Montreal, Quebec.
Keynote speakers at the March 28-30 conference include Brian Mackenzie of Queen’s University, Jacques Bougie of Alcan Aluminum and Carmine Nappi of Montreal’s Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales.
Other topics include mineral demand and the macroeconomy, challenges for mineral producers, and environmental policies for industry.
