Encouraging first results have been released by Mazarin Inc. following drilling at the Inmont gold-copper property located 12 miles northwest of Rouyn-Noranda, Que.
Mazarin, the operator, and sister company Dufresnoy Inc. are each earning a 25% interest in the property from Teck Corp. (Mazarin acquired an option to purchase a 50% interest, and then gave Dufresnoy an option to acquire half of its interest.)
One deep hole (87-19) was drilled to 1,148 ft. One intersection cut 13.1 ft of 0.2 oz gold per ton and 1.02% copper.
The company reports a deep vertical hole has indicated the presence of mineralization to almost 2,920 ft on the property, which underwent drilling between 1926 and 1960.
