The most recent drill results from the Sinter gold zone at the San Martin concession in central Honduras indicate that the mineralized blanket covering the dome-shaped hill thins to the northwest, with an accompanying drop in grade.
The project is a joint venture held 80% by Mar-West Resources (MSR-V) and 20% by Curion Ventures (CUV-V). To date, 50 reverse-Circulation holes have been drilled, of which 35 have been assayed.
Holes 24 to 27, as well as hole 29, were collared in the northwestern portion of the domal hill in an attempt to expand the limits of the mineralization.
No results were reported for hole 29 as it was collared outside of the zone.
Based on results to date, the Sinter zone averages a grade of 1.4 grams gold per tonne over a true thickness of 20 metres.
Mar-West says the results continue to indicate that the deposit has potential for hosting a gold resource of 1 million oz.
