Preliminary exploration of the Brealito property in northwestern Argentina is outlining a zone of porphyry copper-silver mineralization.
Mansfield Resources (VSE) estimates the zone measures 500 by 600 metres. It is hosted in sheared sediments, as well as within an underlying, buried, porphyry intrusive.
Grab samples have returned assays ranging from 0.5% to 6% copper, with silver values of roughly 1 oz. per ton. Follow-up work is planned for September.
