Manor confirms four gold zones

Detailed soil sampling and geophysical surveys have confirmed the presence of four gold zones on the 194-claim Virginia property near Gander, Nfld., says owner Manor Resources (ASE).

Zone A-1 has been extended from 800 metres to 2,000 metres in length. Zone A-2 returned soil values of up to 2,900 parts per billion (about 3 grams per tonne) gold. To the north of zone A-2, two new zones, both about 1,000 metres in length, have been identified.

Manor says trenching and drilling have been recommended for the Virginia property.

On Manor’s Lake Bond copper-zinc prospect, Noranda (TSE) is earning a 60% interest by making option payments and funding field work to the tune of $835,000.
