The president of the Reform Party of Canada will discuss government cost-cutting at a joint luncheon of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada and the Canadian Club, March 29, at Toronto’s Royal York Hotel.
Preston Manning’s speech will focus on the Reform Party’s plan for slashing federal spending to reduce the deficit in three years.
A party spokesman said Manning’s remarks will be a part of the government cost-cutting program the party plans to take to Canadians in the next federal election, and will offer much greater detail than in the past.
