The name of Maclan Exploration has been changed to Can-Mac Explorati on on a share-for-share basis. At the company’s Davis Twp., Ont., property near Sudbury, stripping and trenching work will be followed by diamond drilling. Stripping has identified 27 parallel veins within a 250-ft-wide zone. The F zone has been trenched to a depth of 6 ft along a length of 400 ft. A 70-ft section assayed 0.2 oz gold per ton. Another 21.5-ft section assayed 0.69 oz. The trench also includes 10 ft grading 2.0 oz, the company says.
Drilling is also expected to start this winter on the company’s gold prospect in Estrades Twp., Que.
