Louvem Mines reports net earnings of $1.1 million on revenues of $7.1 million for the 6-month period ending Sept 30, compared with earnings of $109,000 on revenues of $7.9 million for the same period in 1986.

The 6-month report does not reflect a $10-million private placement made (in October) by St. Genevieve Resources in which St. Genevieve acquired about 3.7 million shares of Louvem.
