LITERATURE REVIEW — NEWS ROUNDUP — Magnetic anomaly attracts Major General

Major General Resources (MGJ-V) is set to begin drilling on the Olympic copper property, situated north of Dawson City, Y.T.

The program will test a series of chargeability zones hosted in an iron-rich breccia complex, which is coincident with a strong magnetic anomaly.

The property covers a graben structure in a valley, in the centre of which is a magnetic anomaly underlying an iron-rich breccia complex. According to the company, the anomaly appears to be the result of a dioritic intrusion.

Sampling of the mineralized breccias on-surface returned copper values, including: 7% over 4 metres; 5% over 1.5 metres; and 0.54% over 5 metres.

Chip sampling of the dioritic rocks returned 1.97% copper over 4 metres, and a grab sample from there returned 21.4% copper.
