LionOre pulls hot hole in Western Australia

Infill drilling by LionOre Mining International (LIM-T) returned one of the best nickel sulphide intersections achieved to date at the Maggie Hays deposit in Western Australia.

Diamond drilling returned 37.6 metres of nickel mineralization at an average grade of 2.55% nickel, which includes 17.7 metres of mainly massive sulphides grading 3.31% nickel.

The infill drill program is aimed at better defining the continuity, grade and tonnage of the central portion of the Maggie Hays deposit. At year-end, the deposit had an indicated resource of 13.4 million tonnes grading 1.5% nickel, using a 0.7% cutoff grade.

LionOre also is drilling the Emily Ann deposit, some 4 km north of Maggie Hays. The work programs are part of a preproduction feasibility study, to be completed this year.
