Lightening acquires N.W.T. gold bet from Terra Mines

Lightning Minerals has received regulatory approval for an agreement to buy Terra Mines’ gold property 45 miles northeast of Yellowknife, N.W.T. Gold on the property occurs in a number of steeply dipping quartz veins, three of which have received considerable attention over the years. Surface trenching and sampling has delineated the following mineralized zones:

Average

Average Strike grade (oz

width length gold per Vein (ft) (ft) ton) Lambert 3.0 40 0.42 No. 18 3.4 60 1.28 No. 14 3.0 160 2.57

Diamond drilling in the past has confirmed the continuation of mineralization to depth but the information to date is insufficient to define the tonnage potential of these zones, the company says.

Lightning has started phase one of a 3-phase work program. The first phase will consist of geological mapping and prospecting of the entire property to locate and sample new veins and to remap and resample the known veins.
