A drifting program on the Congress gold property of Levon Resources (VSE) and Veronex Resources (VSE) near Gold Bridge, B.C., recently intersected a 630-ft long zone grading 0.33 oz gold over an average width of 4.7 ft. These results are from the Upper Howard zone.
Within that zone was a 74.2-ft section grading 0.67 oz over a 5-ft. width, the companies noted in a recent news release.
The most significant deposit on the property lies within the Howard vein structure which is now under exploration on two levels.
Geologic reserves stand at 670,000 tons grading 0.24 oz gold and the programs objective is to outline sufficient mineable reserves to justify a 250-ton-per-day production rate. The ore tends to be refractory and would probably require some specialized metallurgical process like bio-leaching.
