LETTERS TO THE EDITOR — PDAC and GAC offering discounts on

The Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) and Geological Association of Canada (GAC) are offering unemployed members discounts.

Gerald Cooper, PDAC membership chairman, hopes that unemployed members, who are required to pay $20 instead of $80 annually, will retain their membership. Should a person who takes advantage of the reduced fee get a job, he is then expected to pay the difference in his dues, Cooper adds. The GAC is offering a $30 discount to unemployed members.
