Letters to the Editor Government wants moneyr

Two sentences in your recent editorial on a clear energy policy vivi dly spell out the problem with governments: “To us, the ideal would be to let the market dictate all pricing structures,” and “What has been happening is that governments only want self-sufficiency if it means more money for them.”n

Governments want more money under any pretext, and they don’t care how they get it or whether they destroy an industry, or a country.e

The officials who used Canadian money to build foreign mines should be investigated.h Richard J. Savadel Massapequa, N.Y.
