LETTERS TO THE EDITOR (June 22, 1992)

As you can well imagine, the past month has been a tragic and hectic time for us. However, I wanted to drop you a note to say how much we appreciated the May issue of The Northern Miner Magazine featuring the Curragh story. It has helped to remind our people at this sad time that our corporate family has much to be proud of.

I would also like to thank you for the editorial (T.N.M., May 18/92) which appeared following the events of May 9. The balanced perspective you provided on the Westray situation and on the demands of mining in Canada were greatly appreciated.
