LETTER TO THE EDITOR — Kudos to Geology 101

I really enjoyed the 2-part Geology 101 article on “Paleoplacer gold deposits” (T.N.M., Jan 12-18, 19-26/98) by Prof. Derek Wilton of Memorial University.

As a small-time investor with an interest in the precious metals mining sector, I really benefit from any articles which help me better understand areas of geology, exploration, mining technology, mining history, mine evaluation, etc.

I hope you will run such educational articles as often as possible in the future.
