They have spent it all. The Globe and Mail and the CBC and many more media are carrying their cry for more-more-more.
The group is also asking the hearings to be held in Toronto instead of Thunder Bay, because it’s easier for them.
Forestry for Tomorrow is really five other groups, the Temagami environmentalists, the Federation of Naturalists and several university groups. You would think with all of that high profile membership they could look over the papers without spending hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Groups such as the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters and the Canadian Association of Single Industry Towns did not receive anything. Northern Community Advocates for Resources equity (Northcare) has never received any government money at all, for anything.
