Letter to editor Coxheath omitted

I was disappointed to note in your article about Gold fever in Canada (N.M., Nov 16/87) that our company, Coxheath Gold Holdings, was not included as a major player on the Nova Scotia gold scene.

With exploration expenditures in excess of $10 million for the 14- month period ending February, 1988, a production decision to be made by the end of February, 1988, the completion of over 9,000 ft of underground workings, the construction of a mill and assay lab, all at the company’s Tangier property — Coxheath should have been included as one of the pre-eminent Nova Scotia gold exploration operations.

The Northern Miner, as Canada’s mining exploration “bible,” has developed a reputation for accurate and unbiased reporting throughout the world. An omission of this size from the reported exploration scene in Nova Scotia, I believe, should be corrected as soon as possible by The Northern Miner. Michael Riddell President Coxheath Gold Holdings
